A not-so-secret ‘Secret Gig’ – flyers were handed out after the ULU gig on the 4th. Despite being advertised as “Sonic Boom & Jason of The Spacemen 3”, Jason didn’t play, although he was there.
Live recordings of this gig are often said to be from Waterman’s Art Center on 30 May 1989, but that was a regular Spacemen 3 gig, so I expect someone wrote the wrong date on a tape of this one at some point.
