This gig was originally advertised as taking place at The Venue, before the realisation struck that Spacemen 3 and Birdland, who also had an Edinburgh gig that night, would be competing for pretty much the same audience, so the gig was moved to Birdland’s venue as a double-headliner. Spacemen 3 played first, as you can see from a review on this Birdland fan page.
