Apparently, Lemmy showed up at the soundcheck, but that was probably more due to the kind of establishment that Gossips was rather than an interest in the Spacemen. The venue was home to famous goth nightclub The Batcave – this video gives a fascinating glimpse into it.
Monday nights at Gossips was Alice in Wonderland.
