There is a press advert for most of this tour that makes the dates and venues very clear. There was also a Rough Trade ad in the March 1989 issue of the German music magazine Spex, which occasionally differs from this, but the dates printed in the May issue of Spex agree with the tour advert, as do the few ads we have for individual venues, so I’m going to go with the ad as accurate.
A bit trickier are the dates before this ad. There are posters and the like for some of them, but there isn’t much evidence for some of the dates that supposedly took place in France, Sweden and Norway. I’m going to include them in the list as they were told to me by someone who is usually right about these things.
